Andrew and Liz Ormond present a cheque of £85 to Alan Hopkinson and Dorothy Prince, for the general upkeep of the Bolehill and Steeplegrange Memorial during Friday June 3rd.
The Bolehill Improvement Project raised the money during the Garage Sale Trail held recently in the village.
Alan and Dorothy are members of the local Memorial fund and help maintain the 80 year old site on behalf of the village. Alan Hopkinson says, “There is always something to do to keep us busy here, and this donation will go towards the Memorial’s upkeep, we also need new volunteers at the moment, so if anyone in the village would like to lend a helping hand, they would be most welcome.”

Alan Hopkinson is inviting anyone who would like to get involved with the Memorial Committee to get in touch with either himself or anyone in BIP. They would be more than welcome.
